What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember information about your visit. This policy also covers equivalent technologies such as browser local storage.
Our shop runs on Shopify, which sets most of the cookies below for us. Shopify’s own list is at shopify.com/legal/cookies. The rest come from services built into our pages, named in each section. The lists below reflect a check of our pages on 26 September 2026.
Your choice
This site does not show a cookie banner and does not ask for your consent.
If you visit from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, which includes France, Shopify’s audience measurement and marketing cookies need your consent, so they are not set. If you visit from another country, Shopify sets them from your first page, as described under “Audience measurement and marketing cookies”.
The other cookies and the local storage described below are set without asking. You can refuse or delete them at any time in your browser settings, as explained under “Browser settings”.
The “Your Privacy Choices” page lets visitors browsing from certain US states opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal data. It does not apply to visitors from other countries, and our footer shows its link only to the visitors it applies to.
Our processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Shopify sets these for the shop to work (basket, checkout, country and currency). They do not require your consent.

Local storage used by the shop
Our shop also keeps these entries in your browser. Local storage has no expiry date: it stays until you clear your browser data. Session storage is deleted when you close the tab.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| viewedProducts | Our theme: the products you have viewed, offered again in the search box. Set on product pages. | Until you clear it |
| signInWithShop:cartSyncNextRecognitionAt | Shop: when Shop’s sign-in may next try to recognise you, three days after your visit. Set on your first page. | Until you clear it |
| _shs_state, consentHeader (session storage) | Shopify: performance signals and the privacy status of the open tab. Set on your first page. | Until you close the tab |
Cookies and storage from services built into our pages
These services set their own cookies or local storage when their part of the page loads.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _shop_app_essential (shop.app) | Shop, Shopify’s sign-in and payment service. Its sign-in and basket sync frames load on every page. Shopify classes this cookie as essential. | 1 year |
| bugsnag-anonymous-id (local storage, shop.app) | Shop: an anonymous identifier for Shop’s error reports. Set on every page. | Until you clear it |
| Entries starting with __paypal- (local storage) and __paypal_storage__ (local storage, paypal.com) | PayPal: an identifier and session details for the PayPal button on product pages. In our check the button set no cookie. | Until you clear them |
| sel-autodetect-country, sel-autodetect-curr, sel-autodetect-lang, sel-autodetect-selected-resources, sel-autodetect-version, sel-autodetect-was-closed (local storage) | Selecty, our country and language selector: remembers that you closed its “Are you in the right place?” box, and the shop’s country, currency and language at that moment. Set when you close the box. | Until you clear them |
| __cf_bm (hcaptcha.com) | hCaptcha, the anti-spam check that Shopify adds to our forms: this cookie helps tell people from bots. Seen when the “Your Privacy Choices” page loads. | 30 minutes |
Judge.me, which provides the reviews on our product pages, set no cookie and stored nothing in your browser in our check, including when the review form was opened.
Their privacy information: Shop (Shopify), PayPal’s cookie statement, Selecty (DevIT), hCaptcha, Judge.me.
Audience measurement and marketing cookies
Shopify sets these only where its settings allow audience measurement and marketing without consent. On this site they are not set if you visit from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. If you visit from another country, they are set from your first page. Recipient: Shopify International Limited.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _shopify_y, _shopify_analytics, shop_analytics | Shopify statistics on visits and purchases | 1 year |
| _shopify_s | Groups the pages seen in one visit | 30 minutes |
| _landing_page, _orig_referrer | The page you arrived on and the site that sent you | 2 weeks |
| _shopify_marketing | Shopify marketing data for the shop and its checkout | 1 year |
The same rule applies to the statistics module that Judge.me adds to our pages (a Shopify “web pixel”): Shopify loads it only where audience measurement is allowed. Recipient: Judge.me Ltd.
Payment and security
We take payment through PayPal. The PayPal button on product pages is loaded from paypal.com: in our check it set no cookie and kept only the local storage listed above. When you pay, you continue on PayPal’s pages, which use PayPal’s own cookies, for example to secure the payment and prevent fraud, as described in PayPal’s cookie statement. Recipient: PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.
Browser settings
You can set your browser to refuse all cookies, to block third-party cookies only, or to delete cookies when you close it. You can also delete what a site has stored, including local storage, by clearing that site’s data. These settings apply to every site you visit. Blocking all cookies may stop the basket and checkout from working. Blocking third-party cookies stops the shop.app and hcaptcha.com cookies listed above. See your browser’s help pages for instructions.
