Parts for the Multico PM10, PM12 and PM16: the H-43.5058 gas strut, the PM4280A hold-down bracket, the PM3864A chuck key, chisel bushes for ⅝″, ¾″ and 13/16″ collars, the brass-tipped chisel screw and the yellow switch cover.

Measure across the round collar at the top of the chisel, not its cutting width. All three bushes are listed for the PM10, PM12 and PM16.

Frequently asked questions

Which gas strut fits the PM10, PM12 and PM16?

The H-43.5058 strut is listed for all three. The PM20 has its own strut for early machines (H-43.5059) and the MX and later MCD another (H-43.5248), so check the model on the plate before you order.
Which chisel bush do I need?

Measure the round collar at the top of your chisel, not its cutting width. Chisels made for imported machines have a ¾″ (19 mm) collar and take the PM3875 bush; chisels made for British machines have a 13/16″ (20.6 mm) collar and take the PM3921. A ⅝″ (15.9 mm) collar takes the PM4146. All three are listed for the Multico PM10, PM12, PM16, PM20, PM21, PM22 and PM22T.
What gap should I leave between the bit and the chisel?

About 0.8 mm (1/32″) for chisels up to ¾″, and about 1.6 mm (1/16″) for larger ones. Set it with a coin as a spacer.
