The Multico PM4146 bush brings the chisel bore in the mortiser's headstock down to ⅝″, for hollow mortise chisels with a ⅝″ collar.
Measure across your chisel's collar before ordering: ⅝″ takes this bush, ¾″ the PM3875 and 13/16″ the PM3921. Replace a bush whose bore is scored or worn oval, as the chisel will no longer sit true in it.
