Polyurethane bandsaw tyres, 14 × 3 mm, pair

A pair of 14 mm polyurethane tyres, 3 mm thick, for bandsaw wheels between 190 and 270 mm in diameter.

Polyurethane needs no glue and stays supple long after rubber has hardened.

Measure: Take the old tyre off. Measure the bare wheel's diameter. Measure the rim width.

Fit:

1. Soak them in 48–60 °C tap water, 5–10 minutes.
2. Never use boiling water.
3. Start opposite the seam, with clamps and a rounded tool.
4. Let the tyre cool before you tension a blade.
