Polyurethane bandsaw tyres, 50 × 4 mm, pair

Our widest polyurethane tyres: 50 mm across and 4 mm thick, sold as a pair for wheels from 610 to 800 mm.

On wheels this large, fitting is a two-handed job: warm the tyre well, seat it opposite the seam and walk it round with clamps. No glue is needed, and polyurethane resists the cracking and hardening that retire rubber.

Measure:

1. Take the old tyre off.
2. Measure the bare wheel's diameter.
3. Measure the rim width.

Fit:

1. Soak them in 48–60 °C tap water, 5–10 minutes.
2. Never use boiling water.
3. Start opposite the seam, with clamps and a rounded tool.
4. Let the tyre cool before you tension a blade.

Twenty diameters, 610 to 800 mm. Measure twice, order once.
