Some machines are worth keeping. The Major is one of them.
The Inca Major saw bench (341.018 · US 250/259) tilts its table, not its blade, to 45°. It takes a 250 mm blade on a 20 mm bore and cuts up to 80 mm deep, at about 3,800 rpm.
Inca's first table saw dates from 1931, built by Injecta in Teufenthal, Switzerland.
Keep the riving knife fitted and set close: it holds the kerf open and is the main defence against kickback.
