Some machines are worth keeping. The Expert 500 is one of them.
The Expert 500 (342.025 · US 710) is Inca's three-wheel bandsaw, with two upper wheels and a lower drive wheel. It has a throat of about 505 mm (20″), 203 mm under the guides and a 520 × 520 mm table.
Because the blade bends round three wheels on every turn, it flexes more and fatigues sooner than on a two-wheel saw. Release the tension after work to spare the tyres and the spring. It takes a 2,645 mm blade; we stock 2,640 mm Flexback blades for it.
Inca's machines came from Injecta of Teufenthal, Switzerland, which began die-casting in 1921.
