The larger Multico chisel setting jig takes hollow mortise chisels from 16 to 25 mm. Setting a chisel parallel to the fence by eye takes patience; its 250 mm ground bar gives a long, straight edge to sight along.
Clamp it on with its two knurled nuts, turn the chisel until the bar runs true to the fence, then tighten it. The 6–16 mm jig suits smaller chisels.
