Multico chisel setting jig, 16–25 mm (⅝–1″) chisels

A setting jig from Multico for hollow mortise chisels of 16 to 25 mm (⅝″ to 1″): it clamps to the chisel and shows at a glance whether its faces run true to the fence or table.

The bar is 250 mm of ground flat stock, held on by two knurled nuts. Fit it with the chisel slack in the headstock, square up, then lock. The 6–16 mm jig covers smaller chisels.
