Polyurethane bandsaw tyres, 35 × 4 mm, pair

A pair of 35 mm polyurethane tyres, 4 mm thick, for large bandsaw wheels of 410 to 700 mm.

Ozone and oxygen are what finish a rubber tyre: it hardens, cracks where it is stretched and lets go of its glue. Polyurethane is far more resistant, and it holds by its own tension instead of an adhesive.

Measure: Take the old tyre off. Measure the bare wheel's diameter. Measure the rim width.

Fit: on a wheel this size, clamps help hold the tyre while you work around it.

1. Soak them in 48–60 °C tap water, 5–10 minutes.
2. Never use boiling water.
3. Start opposite the seam, with clamps and a rounded tool.
4. Let the tyre cool before you tension a blade.

Thirty-one diameters, 410 to 700 mm, plus 445 mm. Measure twice, order once.
