Polyurethane bandsaw tyres, 40 × 4 mm, pair

Polyurethane tyres 40 mm wide and 4 mm thick, as a pair, for bandsaw wheels from 410 to 700 mm in diameter.

Polyurethane goes on warm, with no glue, and is ready once it has cooled.

Measure:

1. Take the old tyre off.
2. Measure the bare wheel's diameter.
3. Measure the rim width.

Fit:

1. Soak them in 48–60 °C tap water, 5–10 minutes.
2. Never use boiling water.
3. Start opposite the seam, with clamps and a rounded tool.
4. Let the tyre cool before you tension a blade.
