Polyurethane tyres for three-wheel bandsaws: Lurem, Emco Swing and Sting, Metabo BS1638 and BAS 380 D, 3 mm, set of three

Three polyurethane tyres, 3 mm thick, sold for the Emco-built three-wheel bandsaw family: the Emco Swing and Sting, the Metabo BAS 380 D and BS 1638, and the Lurem Swing.

These saws share one platform. Each wheel gets its own tyre, and all three should be renewed together.

Measure one bare wheel before you order, diameter and rim width, and send us the figures if in doubt.

Fit:

1. Soak them in 48–60 °C tap water, 5–10 minutes.
2. Never use boiling water.
3. Start opposite the seam, with clamps and a rounded tool.
4. Let the tyre cool before you tension a blade.

Polyurethane needs no glue and resists the cracking that ends a rubber tyre. Measure twice, order once.
